Step 1: Toe nail mysteriously turns completely black
Step 2: Toe nail falls off
Step 3: I dunno, but I cannot wait to find out
I am currently approaching completion of Step 2. The Black Toe is soooooo much a cooler running battle wound than chafing.

then what grows in is this little skin-like very weird feeling nail! i'm running my 2nd 1/2 in 12 days and really hoping not to experience this again like i did with my first one. (for us girls painting over it is one solution!)
That's gross, swimbikerunnap. Luckily, I've retained all of my toenails through this wonderful process. So far.
